The main task of classic headlights is the optimal light distribution for the driver, which enables safe driving in all weather and road conditions.

This functional requirement is expanded and enriched using modern technologies. LED-based light modules offer precise control options for the illuminants down to the last detail, while offering high performance and maximum design freedom thanks to their compact design. Connected to electronics and the on-board system of the vehicle, adaptive and intelligent light control is possible. Our LED standard modules are developed for the use in highly efficient and individually designed headlight systems.

Bi-Functional Projector Module

B65R Gen2

Product description

The Bi-Functional projector B65R uses highly energy-efficient standard LED packages, with which static low beam and high beam light distribution can be generated. Two individual LED-boards are used to switch between the two beam patterns, no mechanically movable shutter is necessary. The separate LED driver circuits make it particularly easy to install in a customer-specific front headlight by allowing a more flexible mounting position within the headlamp. A protective circuit protects against polarity reversal/overvoltage as well as excessively high temperatures to ensure that the module operates perfectly under all conditions. The design of the projection lens can be easily adapted to meet the customer’s specific requirements. This enables the implementation of an individual and highly energy-efficient headlight system with LED standard modules.
