The requirements of OEMs and headlight manufacturers in terms of performance capability, cost-effectiveness and compactness of lighting units are becoming ever more demanding. Meeting their needs calls for new materials, innovative production processes and a strategy that combines the individual components to make integrated complete modules.

Each of our integrated LED modules is made up of a printed circuit board, precisely positioned high-performance LEDs and a high-performance cooler tailored for the purpose. The especially thin PCBs are made from innovative substrates, while the cooling concept with a lightweight design features punched components instead of die-cast parts.

COMPLETE LIGHT SOURCE

Our integrated LED modules are complete light sources, each of which comprises a printed circuit board, SMD LEDs and a cooler. With smart LIMs, the electronic controller is integrated, too.

OPTIMAL CONNECTION

The board-to-board connection is laser-welded, thereby allowing particularly flat modular construction.

PRECISE POSITIONING

The high-performance SMD LEDs are positioned precisely on the board and hence ensure highly accurate lighting results.

PERFECT COOLING

The placement of the LEDs directly on top of the cooler ensures that heat load is transported away quickly, enabling the flat cooling geometry.

INTELLIGENT MODULES

Our highly integrated LED modules also contain the LED drivers and the controller.
