2019 Geneva Motor Show – OSRAM Continental equips innovative electric super sports car with LED projectors

At the Geneva Motor Show, Gumpert Aiways has unveiled a super sports car with lighting technology from OSRAM Continental.

The “Nathalie” methanol electric super sports car which was presented in Geneva for the first time from March 7 to 17, 2019 has a revolutionary energy concept and futuristic design. The narrow headlight band throws an above-average amount of light on the road thanks to OSRAM Continental. For this purpose, the B63R LED bifunction projector was installed, which offers bright and homogeneous light distribution and maximum flexibility for vehicle design thanks to its compact size.

“Without compromising on technical possibilities, OSRAM Continental has provided the best solution for our electric super sports car with this energy efficient LED module. Thanks to the well-conceived concept we were able to perfectly combine our demands for the design of the vehicle and for the functionality of the light,” says Erwin Reder, Head of Homologation and Certification at Gumpert Aiways.

“We share the vision with Gumpert Aiways of shaping the future of mobility. Because of the rapid developments in e-mobility, we are seeing growing demand for innovative and flexible products we can meet with our portfolio,” says Dr. Dirk Linzmeier, CEO of OSRAM Continental.
